SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

 

This famous Christian spot well know for “El camino de Santiago” is the capital of Galicia and for the cristianic tradition here is buried Giacomo il Maggiore, the Apostle of Jesus.

El camino de Santiago, by foot, has many route and the famous is starting from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (CAMINO FRANCESE in the french Pyrenees and it is about 780km through the the nord/ovest part of the Spain to reach Santiago.

other route can be done are called:

–  CAMINO DEL NORTE, really close to the sea

–  RUTA DE LA PLATA, starting from Sevilla.

– CAMINO INGLES, starting from ferrol and A coruna, it s “only” 110 km.

– CAMINO PORTUGUES, starting from Oporto and it is around 227km.
