HELSINKI

The capital of the Finland, with euro currency , it seems close to the biggest european cities.

Frenetic and quite big city, all is focused around the central train station. Could be enought to book accomodation here around to visit the whole city.

Here you can find everything from pubs, restaurant, offices and nightlclubs.

I was in the Omena hotel,4 stars modern and comportable not so expensive. No receptions, when you book it online, they will provide you just a code on your device to go into the building and into your room. Well equipped even with a small kitchen.

As i told, you can start your visit from the central station.

To find the main pedestrian and fancy street you have just lookin for “Alexanterigatu” and all the crossing streets.

The best part of the city is the “Esplanadi”.

It’ s a park placed between 2 long street full of fancy and high-class restaurants : “Pohjoisesplanadi” and “Eteòaesplanadi”.

Here is amazing during summer time when the park and the streets fill of people enjoying the lovely weather.

If you walk along this streets, you will meet the sea.

Walking on “Pohjoisesplanadi” to the sea direction, on your right you met the park, on your left intead there is the main shopping city center.

When you meet on the left “unioninkatu” ,follow it and you will find an amazing construction and a big squade with the Chatedral of Helisnki and the Parliament of the city.

Back to the main street, at the end of it you will meet big and smart building : Suprem Court and the Palace of President.

Just few meters ahead you will see, from the top of the hill, an amazing church, leading the whole city:  Uspenski Cathedral. 1 word : AMAZING.

By the way a good sushi can never miss!!! 😛 😛 😛
